Embrace Psychological Services follows the recommended fee schedule by Psychologists' Association of Alberta.
Registered Psychologist
- $220/hour*
- EMDR Therapy: $225/hour*
- Mediation: $330/hour*
- *Session length is 50 minutes and 10 minutes is dedicated to case management
- Incremental billing of $44/10 minutes

Provisional Psychologist
- $190/hour*
- *Session length is 50 minutes and 10 minutes is dedicated to case management
- Incremental billing of $38/10 minutes

Insurance
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychology services.
We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Payment
Payment is due at the end of the session. VISA, MasterCard, American Express, etransfer and cash are accepted as forms of payment.
Direct-billing is available to the following plans for services provided by a Registered Psychologist. Alberta Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross, Green Shield Canada, SSQ Insurance, Medic Construction, Canada Life, Johnston Group, Group Source, Group Health, Maximum Benefit, First Canadian, Manion, Desjardins, Claim Secure, Chambers of Commerce and Manulife.
Registered Provisional Psychologists are covered by most plans. Please check with your insurer prior to booking. Direct-billing is available to Alberta Blue Cross, Green Shield Canada, SSQ Insurance and Medic Construction for services provided by a Provisional Psychologist.
